Premier League Champions Liverpool will say that "You'll Never Walk Alone" but Jeffrey Tambor once said, "You never walk away from the table when you're on a heater." And despite the parlay just missing, the picks went 3-0, which is a heater in my book. So let's crack on and have a look at this weekend...

Saturday, July 11

Chelsea @ Sheffield United

After a shocking start to the season that saw Sheffield in position to qualify for European football next season, the newly promoted side have been mediocre at best since the restart. Their once staunch defense is no more as 4 of their 7 matches have seen 3 or more goals. Chelsea on the other hand are red hot, going 6-1 since the restart and all but one match have seen 3 or more goals. They sit in 3rd position but have allowed the most goals of anyone in the top 10. Oh, and this fellow named Pulisic aka Captain America has been the best winger in the Prem and simultaneously saving the States' reputation in the football world.

The pick: OVER 2.5 goals @ -106

Manchester City @ Brighton

Manchester City's victories since the restart have been: 3-0, 5-0, 2-0, 4-0, 5-0. Brighton on the other hand cannot seem to find the back of the net, scoring twice in their last four matches. City are -336 on the moneyline but -1.5 is only -126, and, as of late, both those have meant the same for City.

Crystal Palace @ Aston Villa

Both these teams have been absolutely putrid to watch since the restart. Villa have scored twice in seven games since the restart, and Palace have been held scoreless in three of their five matches since play resumed. If you're deciding between watching this game or reruns of The Office for the 236th time since quarantine started, go with Michael Scott.
