July 29 MLB Card: Scent of a Winner

Yesterday's card went 2-1 to bring me to 7-3 on the year in picks, but most importantly was predicting the altercation in Houston. Similar to Joe Kelly after throwing behind Bregman, I too am channeling my inner LTC Frank Slade and "just getting warmed up." Let's have a look at today's games because "the day we stop looking, Charlie, is the day we die."
Diamondbacks @ Rangers
The Rangers offense has also done quite a decent LTC Frank Slade impersonation in their first four games as well, just so happens to be the "blind" part they're doing best. They've scored six runs through four games and have yet to score more than twice in a game. The task does not get easier today as they face Madison Bumgarner, who, in the state of Texas, is probably known more as Mason Saunders. And to be honest, I'm not sure which one they should fear more.
The Pick: Diamondbacks ML First 5 innings +110
Red Sox @ Mets
The Red Sox have looked absolutely awful so far, so I don't expect them to do much against Jacob deGrom. The Mets provide deGrom about as much support as Portland residents do to the Trump campaign, and they're facing Eovaldi who had a decent first outing. Fully expect a pitcher's duel in this one.
The pick: First 5 innings UNDER 4 @ -100
Yankees @ Orioles
The Yankees are fully rested and throwing Gerrit Cole against the lowly Orioles in a matchup were a no-hitter is not out of the question. In the other dugout the Orioles are throwing Asher Wojciechowski who sounds, looks, and quite frankly throws like his time is better spent on a lacrosse field. A career 5.98 ERA in the majors means the Yankees will be dancing around the bases tonight.
The Pick: Yankees Team Total OVER 5.5 runs @ -125
