After taking the weekend off, I am back to continue the hot streak with some mid-week action. The last card went 2-1, bringing my record to 8-1, and that to me is far more surprising than anything coming out of Kanye West's mouth the past few days. Without further delay, let's crack on with 3 more picks.

July 21

Manchester City at Watford

City are coming off a lackluster 2-1 against Bournemouth followed by a shocking 2-0 loss to Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final (much to my happiness). However, as we have seen in the past, City usually bounce back with authority as they followed up a 1-0 loss to Southampton with back to back 5-0 wins two weeks ago. Last weekend took an L but tonight they bounce back. This one will be over quickly, and the toughest part about handicapping this is deciding which way to bet City.

The Pick: Man City -1.5 @ -110

BONUS Pick: Man City 1st Half ML @ -130

Arsenal at Aston Villa

I usually shy away from picking my boys as bias tends to cloud my judgement, but the line here is too good to be true. As mentioned before, the side from North London are coming off a great win against City where Arteta took down his former boss in classic Kendall vs Logan matchup. (Yes, I just started Succession.) Villa are relegation threatened, Arsenal are "so hot right now", and at even money I can't stay away from taking my team.

The pick: Arsenal ML @ -100

July 22

Chelsea at Liverpool

Chelsea's defense have been porous at best since the restart, and Liverpool have not looked themselves since they clinched the title. A fully rested Pulisic, Chelsea needing points to continue to pursue Champions League, Liverpool looking to bounce back against a questionable back line, a half cup of flour, and a pinch of salt is the recipe for goals according to my unpublished cookbook.

The Pick: Over 3 goals @ -100
